second train to Ajmer on our way to Delhi

We took an evening train leaving at 5:30 pm and arriving in Ajmer just after midnight. Again we all got bunks, plus a full meal. Hot soup, snack of a chese sandwich and other things, box meal with hot curry and nan, dessert of ice cream, hot coffee or tea. The servers were amazing.

I get my weight bearing exercise in a barre class. These women build a railroad. Hmmm.

Heavy loads.

Goofing off with Monique

Alok is our tour guide. He makes us wake up really early and get to where we are going.

Arun Gandhi, the grandson and creator of a Gandhi Peace Institute in Rochester, NY. A wise, kind, generous and caring man. He gave me his blanket sice my bunk was like an ice box and I had a bad cold.

Tushar Gandi, Arun's son is also working for peace, but in India. He loves in Mumbai and keeps us laughing with his wit, and teaching us with his knowledge. Another kind and gentle man.

Donna, and Monique, are my two dear friends and travel buddies that I knew before the trip.

This lovely sunset provided the light for the above photos.
